  9.    TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  12.    The PortRAY program and all other programs and materials distributed or
  13.    shipped with it are Copyright Sigma Solutions, 1994,  and are protected
  14.    by  U.K. copyright law and International treaties. In the rest of  this
  15.    document,  this  collection  of  programs  is  referred  to  simply  as
  16.    "PortRAY".  You are granted  a license to use your  copy ofPortRAY only
  17.    under the terms and conditions specified in this license agreement.

  19.    A  "registered"  copy of  PortRAY is  a copy  distributed  on  diskette
  20.    bearing the original Sigma Solutions and PortRAY registered trademarks,
  21.    purchased  from  Sigma  Solutions  or  from  an  authorized  re-seller,
  22.    accompanied  by a printed  bound  manual, or  a previously unregistered
  23.    copy which has since been  registered using a credit card by contacting
  24.    RayTECH BBS (Contact Details Below).

  27.    A "shareware"  copy  of PortRAY is  a copy  distributed on diskette  or
  28.    via an electronic bulletin board,  on-line service, or other electronic 
  29.    means, obtained from a shareware disk vendor,  or obtained from another 
  30.    individual,   without  any printed documentation,  other than  what  is 
  31.    contained on the disk.

  33.    Shareware  copies of PortRAY are  distributed  to  allow you to try the
  34.    program before you pay for it. They are Copyright 1994 Sigma Solutions,
  35.    and do not constitute "free" or "public domain"  software. You may  use
  36.    a shareware copy of PortRAY at no charge for a trial period of up to 30
  37.    days. If you wish to continue using PortRAY after that period, you must
  38.    purchase a registered copy. If you choose not  to purchase a registered
  39.    copy, you must stop using PortRAY,  though you may keep copies and pass
  40.    them along to others.

  42.    Your registered copy of PortRAY may only be used on one computer at any
  43.    given time, unless you have a site license, in which case, PortRAY  may
  44.    only be used on the number of computers specified in your  site license
  45.    agreement.
  46.     
  47.    You may install your registered copy of PortRAY on a  computer attached
  48.    to  a network,  or remove  it from  one computer  and install  it on  a
  49.    different one, provided there is no possibility that your copy will  be
  50.    used by  more than one user,  unless you have a site  license, in which
  51.    case  there should be no possibility of the program being used by  more
  52.    users  than it is licensed for.   A  "user"  is defined as one keyboard 
  53.    which  is  connected  to  a computer on  which  PortRAY  is  installed,
  54.    regardless  of whether or not the user of the keyboard is aware of  the 
  55.    installation or use of PortRAY on the system.

  57.    You may copy any version of PortRAY for normal backup purposes. You may
  58.    give copies of the PROGRAM (either REGISTERED or UNREGISTERED) to other
  59.    individuals, but in doing so, the copy you give becomes an UNREGISTERED
  60.    copy, and the conditions of use for an UNREGISTERED copy apply to  this
  61.    and  any subsequent  copies  made from such.  If you  copy PortRAY  for
  62.    others,  you must  include  all  of  the  files  distributed  with  it,
  63.    including this one.

  65.    You may not make any copies of the printed and bound PortRAY manual, or
  66.    copies of  a printed  version  of  this file  without explicit  written
  67.    permission from  Sigma Solutions.

  69.    You  may NOT  distribute PortRAY  other than through  individual copies
  70.    of  the  SHAREWARE version passed to friends and associates  for  their 
  71.    individual use.  Specifically, you may not place PortRAY or any part of
  72.    the PortRAY package in a commercial library, or distribute it with  any
  73.    other product or as an incentive to purchase any other product, without
  74.    permission from Sigma Solutions.

  76.    You may not reverse-engineer,  disassemble, modify, decompile or create 
  77.    derivative  works  of the product.   You acknowledge that  the  product 
  78.    includes  certain trade secrets and confidential information,   all  of 
  79.    which are the copyrighted intellectual property of Sigma Solutions.

  81.    The  PortRAY User's Manual  is copyrighted and all rights are reserved.
  82.    The reproduction  of any document on the PortRAY diskette, in whole  or
  83.    part, or  its conversion  to electronic  medium are  prohibited  unless
  84.    prior consent, in writing, is given by Sigma Solutions.

  155.    WARRANTIES  OF  MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A  PARTICULAR  PURPOSE.
